We had Katie minding our 15 month old daughter for our wedding. 100% the best thing we booked for our wedding. From the first phone call with Katie I knew she was going to be amazing but she was even better than we thought. My daughter was so relaxed around Katie from the minute she met her I thought she might need a bit of time to get used Katie but not at all she was so happy from the minute they met and was happy all day. Katie was amazing brining our daughter upto us throughout the day and updating us how our daughter was doing. I didn’t worry once about where they were or what they were doing as I knew she was in good hands. It was something that I thought I would be worried about during the day as we have never had our daughter with anyone else besides family but from the moment I met Katie my mind was at ease. The next morning our daughter was happy to see us but she was sad when Katie was leaving!! If your thinking about booking auntie Katie’s book it! It will be the best thing you do!

We’ve only used this service once, but if Siobhan is any reflection of the other members of the team, it’s hard to think of them being anything less than impeccable. From the moment she arrived, she recognised our son instantly. It was clear she did her homework. But what stood out wasn’t just her professionalism or preparation, it was how natural she came across. Throughout the whole day she wasn’t a babysitter, she was a friend. 100% of her attention was focused and present on our son. It wasn’t forced or structured, it was relaxed and fluid. She went at his pace, adapted to his needs, made sure he was never excluded from the event and protected him when it became overwhelming. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She was as invaluable to making our day special as another part of it. She made a deep personal impact on everyone at wedding not just the service she proved but by her character. When Siobhan finished for the night, it was like saying goodbye to family. For anyone thinking of hiring this service, I wouldn’t limit it to just weddings. I was skeptical of the idea at first but now I can’t imagine any event where these guys wouldn’t be an added value. Thank you to all involved in this service particularly Siobhan.

Best money we spent on our wedding!
​I don’t even know where to start—Auntie Katie was absolute perfection! We were so lucky she had availability to look after our 3-year-old son on our big day, and everything was so smooth from the moment they met until the very end.
​I was a little worried beforehand because he is very attached to me, but every time I looked over during the day, he was actually looking around to see where Auntie Katie was instead! 😂 It gave us complete peace of mind for the WHOLE day knowing he was in such safe, caring hands.
​Katie took care of absolutely every single detail for him—feeding, playing, keeping him entertained, toilet runs, outfit changes, and even putting him to bed.
​All of our guests kept asking us afterwards, "Who was that magic lady and how does she do it?!"—and honestly, she definitely has some real magic in her! You know she's amazing when your child wakes up the next morning and immediately starts looking for Auntie Katie!
​If anyone is hesitant about booking wedding childcare, don't be. Booking Katie was the best decision we made. Thank you so much for everything!

Clodagh looked after our 2 year old daughter and 22 month old nephew the day of our wedding. We wanted to be able to enjoy our wedding day knowing they were in safe hands and full attention on them. They took to clodagh very quickly and she even managed to get them to sleep nice and early which was a relief. It was honestly the best money we spent on our day and couldnt recommend this service enough! Thank you again!

We had Katie for our wedding and wow she did not disappoint! We travelled from Australia and had our wedding in the Ballygarry and we were worried that our two year old might feel overwhelmed meeting someone new however she took to Katie so well! We also were nervous about someone we never met minding our little girl, but the professionalism and genuine caring attitude made us relax instantly as our toddler took to Katie immediately. Katie had our little girl over 24 hours, she kept her near at all times, made sure she was involved in the wedding and also took her for breaks when she noticed she was getting tired or overwhelmed in any way. Our guests thought Katie was a relative of ours minding our little one she was that good. Everyone was so impressed with the service, attention and care that was given. We all had a WhatsApp group so Katie sent us updates throughout the day when out of sight. Money well spent with this service, couldn’t have done without it. Katie was absolutely amazing and I’d recommend anyone thinking of getting this for their wedding to do so. I was the bride and can truly say I was able to switch off and enjoy the day and not worry at all.

I cant thank Clodagh enough she was absolutely amazing with our son from start to finish of our day we didnt have to worry about anything we could relax knowing he was in great hands i couldn't recommend Auntie Katies enough

We recently had Katie and Shannon come look after our 3 kids at my brothers wedding. All I can say is that both girls are just magical! I never once felt unsure or worried about my children. Would highly recommend!!

I would like to thank Clodagh and Katie from the bottom of my heart for everything! I can safely say it was the best money I’ve ever spent and I would do it again in a heart beat! My biggest worry as Clodagh knows was, would the kids settle and I was also worried about them being minded by people we hadn’t yet met before.
From the moment ye walked through the door the morning of the wedding, I immediately felt at ease, yere confidence and professionalism and just in general yere warm personalities made me feel so comfortable in knowing my kids were going to be well looked after. Ye set the day off for me to a fantastic start and genuinely made the day what it was in terms of so special as I had no worry on my shoulders about the kids.
I would HIGHLY recommend ye and encourage any one whom has a big day coming up and is worried about there kids being cared for to get in contact with ye as they will not be disappointed! I am so so grateful to ye! It’s a shame ye only do weddings as I’d be contacting ye for other events haha, girls thank ye both again yere a blessing to us worried mothers!

From start to finish Katie and her team were truly amazing. We had them for the 24hour package, for our 2 children, 1 who has Autism and Katie made sure he had 1 to 1 care for the duration of the 24hours. We had Katie and Aoife and the kids had the best time ever with the suitcase of toys and activities. Without Katie and Aoife there we wouldnt have been able to fully soak up the day and enjoy it knowing our two kids were in good hands. I would fully recommend this service to anyone who is getting married and have children as part of their big Day. A big thank you to Katie and Aoife, Ethan & Paige had the best day.

We were absolutely delighted to have Auntie Katies three wonderful ladies — Anita, Aoife, and Rachel — look after my nieces, nephews, and my own little fella on the 5th of December for our wedding. I honestly don’t have the words to describe how incredible these three girls were from the moment they arrived at the hotel until the following morning.
The kids adored them. We adored them. They came prepared with toys and activities, and they kept the little ones entertained all night — feeding them, settling them for bed, and handling everything with such ease. I’d say the kids barely even noticed their mammies and daddies were gone, they were having such a great time!
I would highly recommend these girls. They’re truly amazing. As I said, words don’t do justice to how grateful we are for all the hard work and care they put in, and yet they made it look effortless.

What can I say, from start to finish we had a fantastic experience. We had Rachel for our wedding recently and she was amazing.
We had booked Rachel mainly for our little boy Billy but even our twin daughters had a fantastic time with her too.
Without Rachel we wouldn’t have been able to relax and enjoy our wedding the day the way that we did. From naps to dinner time and even bedtime, everything was taken care of.

We can’t thank you enough Rachel for everything. We would 100% recommend this service.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Aoife was our babysitter for our 7 year old daughter Éabha on Friday in Killarney for our wedding. I wasn't too sure how Éabha would be but they got on so well from the get go. Éabha and Aoife were out on the dance floor playing and dancing with the glowsticks, which was a big hit! We didn't have to worry once knowing Éabha was in great hands. We couldn't fault the service and our wedding guests couldn't get over how great the service was. Éabha was evening asking when can she have the babysitter again. 100% recommend, money well spent. Thank you again Aoife.

Clodagh was great, she was very flexible, helpful, communicative, my son enjoyed his time with her.

i can't say enough amazing things about this service. clodagh babysat my toddler and infant on the day/night of my brother's wedding and without her, we would never have been able to enjoy ourselves the way we did. clodagh was incredibly communicative both before and during her time with the kids. i had no doubt in my mind that she was fully capable of handling them overnight. she packed loads of toys, read them books, got them down to sleep and even did a bottle in the middle of the night with our infant. the boys returned to us at 10am the next day happy and rested. it's been a week and my toddler is still asking when he can play with clodagh's toys again. i would recommend this service to anyone! thank you, clodagh!

Shannon and Clodagh looked after our children at a wedding where myself and my husband were both involved in the bridal party, they made us feel so at ease and relaxed knowing our children were looked after and happy. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they were incredible and our children loved them! 10/10!

AuntieKaties team minded a gang of kids including my own kids for my sisters wedding in Killarney in June. To say they were all amazing is an under statement. My youngest is 4 and my eldest 7. The girls could not do enough to make sure they were entertained. It created a stress free environment for me and my husband so we could enjoy the day knowing they were in such safe hands. I would highly recommend this service. All of the staff were so lovely and went out of their way to make sure the kids were happy and well minded. I would highly recommend this service.

Aoife was on babysitting duties for my Daughter Laura and Darragh wedding. The service was unreal . The kids settled with her no problem. We were worried about youngest Pauric but not a bother. If I ever hear anyone looking for your service I will be recommending your service. What a brilliant service to supply

We booked AuntieKaties for our wedding in January 2025. I was a bit hesitant to book over the price quoted, but after we had Clodagh at our wedding we'd have happily paid double if not more for how amazing she was!! The best money we spent over the whole wedding.

Clodagh took care of 2 of our sons (3 year old & 5 year old nonverbal ASD) for 24 hours. Within the 1st half hour she had them won over and from then on they were best friends. They were both obsessed with her, so much that they didn't even want to sit with us for dinner they were glued to her! I was particularly worried about bedtime as both my kids aren't the best at bedtime and thrive off routine, but she had them both in bed and asleep quicker than I usually would myself and sent photos to reassure us during the day.

Clodagh was fantastic with everyone, not just the kids and everyone that met her complimented how amazing she did. I'm still getting messages asking for her details.

What a fantastic service!
Clodagh was waiting for us when we arrived at the hotel, and immediately bonded with the children; we were two families with 4 kids under 6. She had them all day and overnight and they loved her. She kept in touch throughout, and sent us pictures of the fun they were having. I had to bribe my children to come down to the wedding reception as they ?were having too much fun with Clodagh?. Knowing that the kids were happy & safe, gave us great peace of mind and we were really able to relax and enjoy the wedding.

We are so happy we decided to book auntie Katie's, we would of been lost without Clodagh. She was so friendly with the kids and kept them entertained all day. She was absolutely brilliant with our 9 month old and checked in with us all day! She had a great attitude we really enjoyed her presence on the day! She even hunted down bridesmaids for pictures ???? I would highly recommend this service!!

We had Auntie Katie look after our three year old for our wedding day and she was amazing. Katie is fantastic with children and has such a nice way about her my son just loved her straight away. He was sick the day of the wedding but it didn't phase Katie she was fantastic. Everyone was asking us who was the lady minding Jamie and thought we had known her for a long time when I said he had just me her that morning they could not believe it, she is just so professional and great at what she does. Jamie is a real mommy's boy and I was really worried about who would mind him on the day but with Auntie Katie there I was able to relax and enjoy my wedding day knowing Jamie was in good hands. Anyone who is getting married and has children I would highly recommend Katie, it was without a doubt the best money I spent the day of the wedding, thank you so much Katie

Katie was fantastic with our six month old. She ensured that the baby was involved at a level to suit her schedule. She removed any anxiety or worries we could have had, making the whole day stress free. We would definitely recommend Katie.

My husband and I got married on December 15th 2022. We have a 1 year old son and a 3 month old son. Katie came to the home house and was absolutely fantastic. I was so worried about how my eldest would react but he absolutely loved her. We have been asked since the wedding for Katies number. She is all people are talking about. I couldn't recommend her enough !! We will 100% get her again.

Katie was outstanding the day of our wedding, she took great care of our 14 month old son Dermot and he had so much fun with her. We were really at ease knowing that Dermot was happy and he could join the celebrations when he wanted. Our guests and the hotel staff all
commented how great Katie was too, she was like part of the family. Katie was very flexible and worked around the times that suited us. Such a great service and will definitely recommend to anyone I know.
